Maiden name for "Other Names" in VAF10 form ?

In the VAF10 form (t2 dependent), what should I write in "1.3 Other Names" section ? Should it be my wife's (dep) maiden name ?

As per her current passport her name has my surname, so I am using that name for the visa application, however, in her old passport she has her maiden name.

So should I write her maiden name (same given name but pre marriage surname) in the "Other Names" field ? Or should I leave it blank ?

I'm only familiar with VAF4A but it clearly states in the guidance notes that other names includes names that you have been known by, in other words yes you should include a maiden surname here. I put 'maiden name' in brackets after it. Hope that helps.
