student visa extension documents

Hi,

My bro has his student visa extension next month. He joined this course in Feb 2009. Could someone please let me know the procedure for his student visa extenstion ?

How much are the funds needed ?

His university is in Luton but he is living in London for the past 1 year.

Could someone please let me know how much is the maintaince funds requried and for how many days and any other important info ?

First of all, ask his University if they will provide a student Visa extension letter. Is this the University of Hertfordshire by any chance?
