Hiya,
Hope someone can help me, as I've got a couple of questions that I kinda need answering urgently..
1. I am currently on a WHM visa and working permanently for a distribution company for more than a year now. My visa expires in July and they want to apply for a WP for me. They are hesitant because they have to prove that they did interviews with other candidates and all that. The thing is that a temp agency originally placed me with the company and from that they decided that my work was of a high standard and employed me permanently. Will the fact that I've been there for more than a year change anything to make my WP application go through easier and waive some requirement like proving they couldn't find a suitable local person. Also, I just got promoted to the specialist worker dealing directly with the BBC company. Does this help at all??
2. The other thing is, that in failing to get a WP, I would apply for a student visa.. But what would happen if I don't pass the course? Does the government visa departments ever check up on the status of student visa's and stuff like that??
I really do hope someone can help me..
Thank you so much!!
Liz
