In person for UK T1 next week

Post by vmich » Sun Jun 27, 2010 1:10 am

I am attending T1 appointment in person next week in UK. I am currently on T2 ICT since mid March 2010.

Please help me with these queries which I have:
1. I am attending for T1 on 29th june, so is it correct to say my 15 month period before applying is starting from March 2009? Or is it from April 2009?? Please clarify.
2. Hence can i show salary for the 12 month period of March 2009 - Feb 2010, where i earned only India salary?
3. I am avoiding showing uk sal, just because i meet the points for salary earned with my india salary itself.
4. I am showing maintenance funds in my India bank account, for the period 01-March-2010 to 14-June-2010. Is this ok, as it covers 90-day period as well as it is within 1 month before my date of appointment (which is 29june)?
5. Is it required to enclose a covering letter if attending in person?

Expecting a quick reply from valued members here. Apologies if I asked previously answered queries.

Regards,
Mike

You can not show your earnings before 30th of march 2009 (it works like a calendar month not just month)

2. Hence can i show salary for the 12 month period of March 2009 - Feb 2010, where i earned only India salary?
Please see above

3. I am avoiding showing uk sal, just because i meet the points for salary earned with my india salary itself.
It's not a problem, but please be advised that you can not use the uplift ratio for your salaries earned in India while you were physically in the UK

4. I am showing maintenance funds in my India bank account, for the period 01-March-2010 to 14-June-2010. Is this ok, as it covers 90-day period as well as it is within 1 month before my date of appointment (which is 29june)?
That looks fine

5. Is it required to enclose a covering letter if attending in person?
No

Thanks for clarifying.

In this case, I intend to show april 2009 - feb 2010, i..e 11 month period where i was ONLY in India. with the uplift ratio for this salary period, I am getting sufficient points. this should be fine right?

3. I am avoiding showing uk sal, just because i meet the points for salary earned with my india salary itself.

Yes I know. I was physically in uk from mid march 2010, that is why i am showing salary of april 2009 to Feb 2010, when i was in India. I was never in uk during that period.
