Need Urgent Guidance - Eligibilty Double Check

Post by suniljainmay79 » Sun Jun 27, 2010 2:22 pm

Hello All,

I am qualfied chartered accountant from india and currently studying in UK on student visa. My student visa is valid up to April 2011, but i am interested in applying for Tier 1 General as i am entitled for it and and will be able to work as per my convienance.

I have checked my eligility tru PB Calculator on UKBA website and get the positive result.

I still want to reconfirm my eligility and documentation requirement from you guys who are really helpful and knowledgable in this section.

Age : 31 Year ( My passport will be a proof for this) - 10 Points

Qualification : I am a fully qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Qualified in 2004 ( I will submit my qualification certificates and exam marksheet for that). I have
checked it in PBC for 35 Points.

Earnings: I had income in last 12 out of 15 months , from 2 different source:

Source 1 : Entire year 2009 i was working in Dubai and taking salary in CASH and used to do the transfer in my account as per requirement.
( I can arrange salary letter from employer stating that i had received my salary in CASH , but can link these salary through my bank account on one to one basis) .

Source 2: I left my job in Dec 2009 end and came back to India and worked in Delhi for a Pvt Ltd Company in the month of Jan 2010 and earned Rs, 7 Lacs for setting up their ERP System/Accouting system and internal control system.

( I can provide a signed contract between me and that company, and for other proof i can provide my bank statement stating the receipts of Rs. 7 lacs from that company)

- My indian earning in short time span is itself sufficient to get me enough points - 30 Points. Do i need to show my Dubai Income as well?

- Are the above documents sufficient to meet the requirement?

- If i am required to show my Dubai income , then what is the another proof i should provide in addition to Salary certificate ?

English language : I have IELTS 6.5 Marks which is sufficient

Maintenance Fund: I have had enough fund in my joint account with my wife.

Kindly provide me your valuable inputs on my above case.

Thanks for reading the same

-- a. Salary letter from employer should be in this format for the whole period.

Month | Gross Salary | Net Salary | Payment Date

-- b. the amount in the bank statements should be equal to HR letter (net salary and Payment date). If not, then we are running into issues.

Source 2: I left my job in Dec 2009 end and came back to India and worked in Delhi for a Pvt Ltd Company in the month of Jan 2010 and earned Rs, 7 Lacs for setting up their ERP System/Accouting system and internal control system.

-- Signed contract, I am not sure whether they will accept. Instead they will accept one of the following.

iii) Letter from the applicant’s (previous and/or present) employer(s) confirming that he/she has received the exact amount claimed. This is a letter on company headed paper which clearly shows the applicant’s earnings during period claimed, and the date and amount of each payment. This letter should be dated after the period for which earnings are being claimed and should clearly show the applicant’s gross and net pay.â€
