Travelling to France with EEA FP...

Post by megmog » Tue Jun 29, 2010 12:14 pm

Hi guys,

Not quite sure if I should post this here or in the European section? My huband is South African and holds a valid 5-year EEA Family Permit for the UK... I had read somewhere on here before that he is able to travel to France without a visa, providing we travel together... does anyone know if that is correct? we are due to travel by Ferry for a week's holiday with friends... providing we take our marriage cert will he have any issues?

I know that different european countries have a different take on this (legally or not) - could anyone clarify for me?

Thanks!

If your husband has a residence card he can travel without an additional visa provided you are travelling together. The relevant info has been on the official embassy web page for quite a while now.
