family visitor mom and dad

Hi I sponsored my parents family visit visa application and both my parents submitted the application at vfs in hyderabad on 24 june. Got msg for my dad on 29th june to say passport despatched by courier and eventually got visa on 1 july.

However my mons passport was not sent and her staturs online says application under consideration by bhc. All supporting documents are still held by bhc.

i am very confused and worried as to why they have not sent my moms passport and why its still under consideration when both mom and dad applied together with only one set of supporting documents.

Any help or advise from people in similar situation is welcome.

Just because you submitted at same does not mean the ECO will look at them at the same time and make the decision at the same time to.

You need to bit a more patient.The chances are that your moms application has been seperated from your dads and will be dealt with in its own turn
