Clarification on Part 6: 6.2 and 6.4 sections of PBS

Hi experts,

I have travelled twice to UK on Dependent Visa as my husband is working in UK on Work Permit from a company. Now I'm applying for HSMP and I need to fill in if I have any VISAs in past 10 years to UK.

The answer is Yes but while to mention the details / purpose of visit in 6.2 of PBD application, Can i mention as 'Personal visit on dependent visa' in 6.2 and the real VISA name in 6.4 as 'Work Permit VISA Dependent'.

Also, in the duration fields of the application, do I have to mention it as xxyears, xxmonths and xx days?

One more, Will passport and Driving License work as Age proof? or Do I need to submit Birth Certificate? I don't have my Birth Certificate.

Please advice.

Assume you are applying for Tier-1 initial application & for your queries my response as below:

Can i mention as 'Personal visit on dependent visa' in 6.2 and the real VISA name in 6.4 as 'Work Permit VISA Dependent'.--Yes you can

Also, in the duration fields of the application, do I have to mention it as xxyears, xxmonths and xx days?--For each visit just mention the departure & the arrrival dates stamped on ur passport.

One more, Will passport and Driving License work as Age proof? or Do I need to submit Birth Certificate? I don't have my Birth Certificate--Passport will do.

My latest visa has a duration of 2 years, 11 months and 22 days. So do I specify the same in section 6.4 for VISA details?

My bad , i missed that..yes you can either mention the duration in y/m/d or you can mention the start & end date of your visa like from y/m/d to y/m/d.

If I am not wrong - are you asking for the above mentioned in the Tier 1 G form?

I think you only need to provide all that your travelling details if your cureent leave does not appear on the previous/current passport which u used for travelling or while stayed in UK.

Please let me know if I am wrong.
