Student Visa ID card got delayed for 1 month

Hi,
I successfully got a decision against my visa refusal but on 2nd june got a letter saying my college was closed ad was given 2 months temp visa to apply for a college. But only this week i got my bio metric ID so i was not able to apply for a college without it. Its One month waste of time. Will the home office know about this delay and i have to apply before end of this month.

Solicitor said if its get late can do something about it with home office
