Got HSMP Dependant Visa..!! (Colombo VFS) Not TIER-1

Hi All,

This forum helped me a lot in the application of my wife's dependant visa. So I thought it's time to share my experience so others can benifit from it. I am on HSMP (stamped as Highly Skilled Migrant Prpgramme NOT TIER-1..!!)


Documents from my end
1. Employment confirmation letter
2. Payslips (6 Months)
3. Bank Statement (6 Months.i had £2500 for 3months )
4. Passport front , back and visa copies
5. Sponser letter
6. No objection letter from landlord for my wife's staying in that house.(plus 2 utility Bills)
7. Copy of my driving licence

Spouse documents:
1. VAF 2
2. Passport with photocopies
3. Marriage certificate
4. Marriage Photos & invitations
5. Bank Statement (had 3million SL Rupees for 6months in her savings account)
6.Degree certificates
7. Detailed phone bills for 6 months

Here is the timelines

Applied on : 16st June 2010 - Colombo VFS
Application in process : 17th june 2010
Passport ready for collection : 30th june 2010
