Hey guys
I found this forum an hour ago (this is my 1st post) and must say its a great forum. How you guys help others is really commendable.
i have got a couple of doubts/probs so seniors i would greatly appreciate if you guys could help me out.
** I am from india and been to UK (nottingham) in 2007-09 to pursue HND but since 2009 am back in india and been pursuing the last year of bachelor's degree (i had completed first two years before i went to uk) so there isn't any gap in my education) last year i tried twice to get a canadian study permit but sadly i was refused both times reason being my previous studies are irrlevent/doesn't match (i applied through a CSIC certified canadian representative who failed to understand why embassy made such a lame excuse )
since i am done with my bachelor's degree in india so now i want to go back to UK to complete my TOP UP DEGREE (as i have HND so top up is for 1 year) but am worried if the canadian study visa refusels could have the negative effect on my UK study visa also leading to UK study visa refusal ? secondly, my classes gonna start around 27 sept 2010 so kindly suggest me what date should i submit my application by ? (Plz tell me the minimum time the Delhi high commision takes to process the application of those who have travelled to the UK in last 5 years) ?
what do you guys think ?
i have read SSUK's topics regarding showing Fixed deposits as maintaince funds and i have got answers to most of my funds related questions however i would like to know that since there is no way i can pay my fees out of FD's without liquidating them so Can i pay my fees out of my parents savings a/c ? if yes, does the fees has to be in there from the last 28 days or can the cash be deposited and sent as fees straightway (i am planning to pay the half of the fees out of my dad;s savings a/c and rest show Fixed deposit money as maintainence fees)
Also i have a friend in UK (british citizen) who i can stay with free of charge and as long as i want so does that help in any way or rather gives a negative impression? the other day somebody told me if i can get a letter from him stating the accomodation for me is free of cost than i need to show less maintainence fees. guys i am not sure if this could be done and gives a positive impression ! kindly suggest guys..
Thanks for reading
All the best to all of you..
Cheers
