Birth Certificate AND Certified Passport Copy?

Post by Maxy » Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:42 pm

Hello, a quick question about the settlement visa - I'm getting all the paperwork together and we're almost ready to apply. I sent my original birth certificate and I'm wondering if I also need to get a certified copy of my passport to submit. Please let me know.

Thank you!

Only the sponsor needs to have his passport certified, not the applicant as the applicant has to hand in the original passport with application

Thankyou, Batleykhan.

I was wondering, though - if I've included my original birth certificate with the application will I also need a certified copy of my passport?

I'm the sponsor, by the way.

Thanks.

Yes passport is an essential and crucial requirement.

I would have thought if you were sending your passport, there would be no need to send birth certificate, but its best to do it if you have to.
