Regarding your PF query, sushdmehta has already answered in the other thread. Regarding your tax, you dont need your form 16 to prove your tax. Your payslip will normally have your gross pay, tax deducted and net pay. You have to consider the sum of gross pay for your previous earnings period as suggested above by gd_shepherd.Tier1Fresher wrote:Hi aruni
thanks for the reply. i went through the link. i have a question regarding the salary proofs. actually they have asked for two proofs. 1. pay slip and 2.bank statement. the problem is certain components of my salary does not reflect in bank statement like PF & tax. Any idea how to deal with these. Also for tax paid i dont have any proofs. i will be getting form 16 at the end of the year. I am not qualified for hsmb(100 point) without claiming PF & tax. Please advise me how to deal with this.
Clearly you did not go through the policy guidance carefully as suggested by sushdmehta.Tier1Fresher wrote:Hi
I am talking about the following in policy guide. Which talks about submitting tax return docs. I am getting my tax return docs once in a year. so is there any source where I can get the documents for the tax paid till now and submit.
"Official tax document produced by iv) the tax authority or employer, showing earnings on which tax has been paid or will be paid in a tax year. For these purposes, we define official tax documents as:
a document produced by a tax authority
• that shows details of declarable taxable income on which tax has been paid or will be paid in a tax year (for example a tax refund letter or tax demand);
a document produced by an employer as
• an official return to a tax authority, showing details of earnings on which tax has been paid in a tax year (for example a P60 in the United Kingdom); or
a document produced by a person,
• business, or company as an official return to a tax authority, showing details of earnings on which tax has been paid or will be paid in a tax year. The document must have been approved, registered, or stamped by the tax authority (this is particularly relevant to some overseas tax systems, for example SARAL in India).
