Tier 1 dependant visa (In country PEO application) query

Post by drdheer » Mon Jul 26, 2010 10:14 am

Hi guys,
I recently switched from Tier 1 (PSW) to Tier 1 (General) visa. My wife is already with me in UK. Now I would like to switch her visa from Tier 1(psw) dependant to Tier 1 (general dependant).

I have booked an PEO appointment. I have few queries:
1. Apointment has been booked as Tier 1 category as there is no Tier 1 dependant category in options provided by ukba. Is it ok?

2. In PBS dependant application form, I am Main applicant and my wife as PBS Dependant. So while booking appointment I booked myself as Main applicant and my wife as PBS Dependant. Is it ok?

I called ukba and they said "your wife would have been the main applicant, But you both go and attend this appointment or cancel it and book another(which is so difficult to get). He said I cant assure but it will be the descrition of the case worker he will process ur application or not".

Please suggest what should I do? Thanks in advance.

UKBA has advised you accurately, you cannot be the main applicant in this case as it is your wife who is making the application - not you.

Unless you want to risk wasting your day and do not mind the further delay this risk might cause you, IMHO, you should cancel this appointment and book another one (accurately).

regards
