Education - field has any relevance?

I work in IT. Work experience is more than 10 years. However my engineering is non IT I.e chemical. Does this have any impact or concern from tier 1 visa perpsevtive.

Does the policy guidance or the immigration rules state anything to that effect?

As mentioned earlier, it is evident from your posts that you have not read the policy guidance for the immigration category you wish to apply for. It will be in your own interest that you first read the guidance *carefully*.

You have your PBS ... It is online. That should almost clarify ur basic doubts. And for indetail description on each section, go thru the guidance of ur VISA type carefully.

Edited, dont come up what is PBS - IT is Point Based system calculator. It is available in the UKBA website.

As long as you have enough points and can supply valid acceptable evidences / proofs for ur claims, then you are good to go.
