Guys, does anyone know what is going to happen to the 10-year rule with the new legislation kicking in its final enactments. Will those parts coming into force mean that the whole 10 and 14 year ILR will be cancelled altogether?

Would be such a shame for those just missing days or even weeks.

Any ideas?

You will know, as everyone else, as and when UKBA / Govt. announces the "final enactments" of the new legislation.
