Clarification

Post by juliajules1979 » Wed Jul 28, 2010 10:17 am

Hi

My husband is applying for ILR in January 2011, can I just check that the new English tests only apply to people who are making the initial application for leave to enter. My husband will be applying for ILR on set M.

Many thanks

Applicable to those who will be making applications for leave to enter, leave to remain, or switch to the said category.

If your spouse's next application is going to be for settlement, then this new requirement does not apply to him / her.

Thankyou for your reply. Yes he will be applying for ILR settlement set M as he has been in the UK for 2 years on a spouse visa.
