Hi I am in need of an urgent advice or help
My husband applied for ILR on 18 march 2010 as a spouse of a british citizen,4 weeks after applying the money was still not deducted from his bank account(debit card details were submitted),I rang the HO 14 weeks after as requested to voice my concern,1st attempt I am asked to wait,3rd attempt the lady on the phone raised an enquiry to the charging office which was done 3 weeks ago.We then received a letter dated the 27 July (5 months after the form was submitted)stating the attempt application was not successfull due to: either that the bank rejected the payment or the details provided did match the bank details.
Now neither is correct as we checked that we had the correct debit card details were sent and had enough money to cover the payment.We had also telephone confirmation that no attempt was made by the HO to even collect the money from the 18 March to present.
My querry is I have bok a premium appointement at the croydon office as I really don't want to go thru the same.
I dnt know whether to cancel the apointment as technically the visa has now expired, or make a fresh application. Can I make a complain because clearly a mistake has been made and the form return was missing the payment details!
Please any advice/help will be appreciated as we are really desperate
