Need help - MBA student in Belgium, Tier 1(General) Visa

I am an MBA student in Belgium. I will graduate in Sep 2010 and I want to apply for Tier 1(General) Visa. I stopped working in Feb 2009 to start my MBA in Sep 2009. I saw in the requirements for Tier 1(General)visa that one must show earnings of last 15 months(12 continuous months). I have not been earning for last 18 months(6 months of break & 12 months of MBA).

Is there a way I could provide details of my earnings for the period when I was earning to apply for Tier 1 visa or do I have to wait to again work for a year and then apply.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Unless you qualify without claiming points of earnings, you cannot apply. If you do not then you'll need to earn after completing MBA, and apply as and when you qualify.

Thanks. I was wondering if there is a provision for students who wish to apply for Tier 1(General) visa in terms of earnings waiver?

I fall short of 25 points(without earnings) for the new 80 points requirements.
Otherwise I will have to apply after earning for a year.
