ILR Set (M) letters

Post by Sean7398 » Sun Aug 15, 2010 8:08 pm

Hi. In the section where you have to give 6 letters in joint names (at least 3 sources), Is a travel insurance document okay to present. It is not a letter, but it will have both our names at different stages throughout the document. Would this be okay? I have other letters, but wanted to ask about this technicality.

No, because it lacks verification of cohabitation by the issuer.

Anyone can buy a travel insurance policy from a website and include anyone in the application .. irrespective of whether the other person named in the policy lives with the applicant or not. All one needs is the date of birth, passport number and the payment card details / billing address.

IMHO ...

Thanks for that. It was good for me to ask nso far I have official saving account statements , gas bill and electricity statements in both our names. We also have letters in individual names from the dentist and NHS etc. That should be better shouldn't it?
