[b]Employment Gap in changing job Work permit Applying ILR

I am on wok permit from july 2006 and changed my job in 2007 october with new employer.My papers were not transferred to new employer but my new employer only got it done in august 2008 and i got new Flr and change of employment confirmation from home office.during this time gap i was working with this new employer.

Now i am due for My ILR in JULY 2011 will my gap be a problem or do i have to start 5 yrs again from august 2008 .when Home office had transferred My papers from old employer to new employer they didnt realise the gap ,i also got new flr n change of employemnt confirmation for 5 years.

will my stay from 2006 will be counted as 5 yrs or the gap caused by my employer will start my 5 years again.If home office had known the gap then would they raise a question ? will home office know this gap between switching my jobs though i was in regular employment and effect my application else my application for ILR will be smooth as i am working continously from 2006.Please help or please give me some advice or similar consulation that what should i do to get ILR in july 2011.Please HELP...??????[/b]
