COA required but not for VISA

hi, me and my fiance are both non-eu and we want to register our marriage in the UK,but we don't have UK citizenship or Permenent Residency,actualy we are students but after 1 year i m gonna apply for PR under Long term residency Law, so if we get COA now and register our maraige can my wife apply for spouse visa after 1 year on behalf of me,bcoz im gonna have my PR at that time??? but i've read on COA form that, No: (1) If COA granted r u gonna apply for stay in the UK on behalf of ur marriage Tick Yes no:1 option is for people where one of them is UK citizen/PR, No: (2) If Not tick NO. so we have to tick on NO because none of us have PR at the moment, but what if we want apply for Spouse Visa after 1 year, will that be a problem? bcoz HO might say that you applied COA that you will not gonna apply for visa and now you want to apply for spouse visa??? if anybody can advise me on this regard...

CoA is required when you want to marry in the UK. But since you use the word "wife" in your post I assume that you both are already married. If so and if you have evidence of marriage that is acceptable under UK law then you don't need anything more.

Once you are granted ILR, your wife may be allowed to switch from student category to spouse category.
