dependent ILR for kids from India

Hi Guys,

I have a query regarding applying dependent ILR for kids from India.

just for background:
Myself my wife and my elder daughter had got ILR in Feb 2010.
My wife was pregnant and she went to india in May for delivery.

In Aug first week we had twins and now i would like to know how can i apply for dependent ILR from India.

I tried to search on site but didnt got much results.

It would be great if someone can send me the link where i can find details or can share there experience. I'll be applying from Mumbai.

I went through the links you mentioned.

It expects one of the parents to be in UK while we apply ILE from India.

My question was whether we can apply ILE for kids in India when both the parents are in India. I have to go back to offshore for 3-4 months and then come back to UK. So i was planning to apply for there ILE when i was in India and then come back with family after 3-4 months.

is it possible, to apply for ILE (for kids) when i am also in India along with my family?

You may apply for the visa near to the time you intend to return to the UK but will need to fulfil the necessary requirements (e.g. - employment in the UK, accommodation in the UK adequate for the family).

Apologies for not being clear.

You are correct, my initial question was how to apply for ILR from India, when i am in UK.
But there are talks of sending me to offshore for 3-4 months and hence i had raised other question of applying ILE from India.

Still i am not sure whether i would be in India or in UK and hence wanted to gather information for both the options.
