Maintenance fund for child born in uk

Post by godwinotse » Fri Aug 27, 2010 11:46 pm

Hi, I urgently need help with this. I am going for my appeal on the 2nd week in Sept on the grounds of maintenance and i can show funds for myself, wife and my first daugther in my personal account and my wife personal account (£800, £533 & £533). My youngest daugther was born in the uk and was included in the initial application that was refused on the grounds that the maintenance fund was in my business account(£2,515) for 3 months. The only money I have for her (youngest daugther) is a children savings account which my wifes younger sister was made the administrator of the account. but not sure if I can use that fund(£1,200). Alternatively my lawyer is saying he will ask the judge to grant me the £533 from the £2,515 in my business account to make up for my youngest daugther. will any of these work???

But how you would prove this is yours account? If you can prove this then yes you must include this as evidence in appeal.

Yes you should ask to include this account.

This is simply a general discussion not an immigration advice. I not necessarily correct on everything I would say. I am learning too
