Dependent visa imp query

Post by nehagharge » Sat Aug 28, 2010 10:23 am

Hi,

I am already in UK on student visa and my husband is on tier 1. I am gonna apply for his dependent next month. We have been staying together in the two bedroom apt since 14 months, But when it comes to the list of documents, we don't have the utility bill or water bill on ourname. Its on our owner's name. We just have the rental agreement. Will this cause a problem. I have listed below the list of documents.

VAF 10 form
3 months bank statement - £1350 as maintenance in joint act
6months salary slip
proof of employement
Rent agreement
marriage certificate
marriage photographs

I am as well working part time. do i need to submit my payslips or any other documents?

Please advice..

Thanks,
Neha

Rental Agreement is fine. Dependant does not need to provide evidence in support of his/her earnings. have you read the guidance note for dependant application? Are you sure you are eligible for applying as an in-country applicant?

Disclose the refusal in the app form. A refusal does not necessarily lead to an automatic refusal subsequently unless the original refusal was on the grounds of submission of fraudulent docs/ misrepresentation etc. in which case the original refusal would clearly say so. You should be alright.
