Hello Everybody.

I have a friend who finds himself in a very difficult position and I am hoping that there is light at the end of the tunnel form him. For ease of reference I will call them Jack and Jill.

Jack entered the UK on the old 2-year working holiday visa in 2005 and Jill came to the UK under the ancestry visa category in 2005. They got married in 2007. Their relationship went pair-shaped and they are now separated. They separated 6 months ago.

Jill qualified for ILR at the same time they separated. Can Jack apply for ILR also as Jill does not want to include him on the application.
