I got a letter from DOJ just 1 week before my temp stamp 4 expire, so try to sit back and relax. There's nothing you can do but waiting.

If your wife is working now, then previous job seeker's applications are not material. You can be in Ireland because you have a right to be with her, and she is exercising her treaty rights currently by working.

I would suggest you write a letter to DOJ. Send it by registered mail. Point out that under Irish and EU law they have a MAXIMUM of 6 months to decide on Residence Card. That you expect that they will not exceed that limit, and that you will take it up with the European Commission if they do not meet the requirement. (You could also sue them in Irish court, especially if you are forced to not work because they have broken the law).

I am confused.

Who does the guy who just called you work for?

When did you apply for 4 EU Fam?

When did DOJ ask you for Eircom bill and recent pay slip?
