I applied for a Tier 1 (General) visa as a switch from a Limited Leave to Remain as a postgraduate doctor but it has been refused for reasons that I did not provide the appropriate evidence for Previous earnings (hence UK experience) and also Maintenance(funds).
I did not inundate the UKBA with 12 payslips and bank statements as I thought my P60, one payslip and a bankstatement were sufficient but I was clearly wrong.
I do not mind accepting it as my fault for the evidence of Previous Earnings but I am sorely disappointed that a mistake has been made for my proof of Maintenance (funds) as it was stated that there were gaps on my statements for 90 days when there were clearly none and I submitted my statements dated 01/04/2010 - 19/07/2010.
I have called and the UKBA and was adviced to fax a letter to the case worker in Sheffield on 0114 207 2536 but have not heard back in 3 working days.
I'd just appreciate some advice as to
1 - How do I get hold of that case worker to discuss if my other payslips can be sent in (it unfortunately said that I could not appeal the decision but I am keen to try?)
2 - should I just send in the other documents for pay as proof to the Sheffield PO Box 3468 addressed to the named case worker ?
3 - should i get hold of a solicitor
4 - should i reapply? (it is so EXPENSIVE!)
thank you
