UK born child to Teir 1 visa parents

HI,
My husband and I, Indian citizens have been in uk since 2005, recently we swtiched our visa to Tier 1 (january 2010). I am his dependant.
I am due to have a baby in January 2011, therefore want to make sure I make the right planning to get all papers sorted for the coming baby.
I understand from reading different message that I need to apply for an INdian passport as soon as the baby arrives.
and thereafter if we wish to travel to india, we need to apply for a dependant visa too for the baby.

Can someone shed light on
1) documents required to apply for Indian passport (which I understand needs to be applied to INdian embassy)
---will the baby's citizenship indian born in uk on his/her passport?

2)documents required for visa purpose
(--should we have to show a total of (800+533+533) as maintenance funds for 90 days piror to application?
---Should we have to prove by the main applicant like we did when appling for intial teir 1 application, points when appling for the baby?
---if we are applying in oerson should the baby be taken for the interview along with parents?)

Yes

Not sure I understand your question, but you have to produce Birth certificate when applying for baby's visa.

Don't think so, but you should check with Home office.

Check with UKBA if an infant can be represented by the parent when the only application being submitted is for the infant.
