Got A Student VISA After 3 Months of Course Starting Date

Hellow Every one..
I have Applied for a student visa for a PG course in Herfordshire uni. the course is starting on 27 Sep, 2010. My course starting date is Clearly mention on Cas letter and Visa forms. besides that I have writeen 15 Sep, 2010 as my traveling date to Uk. But the visa I Got Valid fom 24 Dec,2010. this creates a problems for me. can any one help me out for this. I have contacted visa office (send multi mails) but till now (about 8 days) heard nothing from them.

Is there any kind of help avalable from u people.
