Partners visa extension

Post by shib30 » Thu Sep 16, 2010 8:46 pm

Hi,

I'm currently on Tier 2 visa and am planning to apply for ILR in February 2011 as I will complete 5 years by then.
I have a few doubts regarding my partner's visa extension.

She is having Tier 2 dependent visa which is valid till April 2012. After our marriage, she came to UK in Sept 2008 on Work permit and then later on changed to dependent visa. So in total, she has completed 2years of stay in UK, but 1 year on work permit and 1 year as dependent.
1. Can she apply for ILR along with me?
2. If not, does she need to apply for FLR?
3. And if so, should she take up the New Engligh Test? (she is currently working as a software developer)

Looking forward for your valuable advice.
Regards

Yes. KOL required.
