LTR switching to HSMP from Dep WPH

Dear All

I am from India. I came to UK as work permit holder for 2 years. After my time expired my wife got work permit and I became dependant of her. Now she has been working as work permit holder and I am still her dependant.

Now I am going to apply for HSMP. My question is that if I get the HSMP approaval, what will be my situation for leave to remain for HSMP. Will I get the LTR from Home Office while remain in the UK or I will have to go to my country for obtaining entry clearance.
