TIER1 General UK - can bring earnings from abroad?

Hi All,
I am under PSW and need to switch to TIER1 general.
Earning requirements are now GBP35K.
I am going to claim points for my previous 12 months earning during which I have been living in the UK. However, I do some consultancy work for some businisses abroad and this money have been paid in a foreign bank account which is not UK taxed. I am claiming for GBP28 from the UK (taxed) and GBP11K from abroad (which are not UK taxed).
is this feasible?
In other words:
- Can I use a combination of earning (UK + abraod) of I was living for the 12 months in the UK. i went abroad for a few days each time to handover the consultancy studies?
- In case the answer of the first question is ok, can the earning from abroad NOT be taxed in the UK?

I just paid 60pounds for 30 minute consultancy with an immigration consultant and he said that I can use this combination and the salary from abraod should not be UK taxed. However, most of my friends say that salary from abroad should be taxed in the UK if you are applying from the UK for the previous 12 month u have been living in the UK.

Please clarify. this is very important as it is not clear in the guidance.

I live in student area .... you will be SHOCKED on how many people on PSW visa are doing this to meet the Tier 1 point system ... they get all the paperwork done abroad (which in asia is easy) ...... but i am still to see a success from this .... 3 rejections and wait of 3-4 months .... ukba tried to contact client, etc ......

Could you explaim me what you have done exactly, please give me details about your case?
You case has been rejected 3 times? what were the reasons?

Sorry for my bad wording.
I meant was ... i have heard of 3 rejections from 3 different people .... and i am on Tier 1 for a while ... but when i applied i showed 12 month full time earning.

If people bring all the income from abroad while leaving here, they will defintely refused. But if you bring a few thousands only, I did not see anything that says that is not feasible. today the immi
I work for a university and we have tens of people working with PSW and cannot get tier1 general with the new rules. and most people under 30 years old, with a masters from a UK university with a job cannot get Tier 1 general as no ones earn more than K35.
I expect that the homeoffive will realize this and the rules will be changed again..but who knows when.

For now, I really need ANSWER to my queries. So, please moderators, senior mebers and people who went through this process, HELP.

AFAIK there is no reason someone cannot do this, with the proviso that a multiplier cannnot be applied to any such earnings.

Also my understanding is if you were physically in the UK when you did the consultancy work, you should have paid UK tax on it.
