Past earnings and NARIC

Post by stanC » Thu Apr 06, 2006 10:47 pm

Please someone answer my question;

1. I'm working in Indonesia in the past 12 months but since my company is actually from Ireland I get cash as salary every month. I can provide proof of salary slip but unfortunately I'm not able to give proof of tax or bank statements. So wat type of documents should I provide to score point in this part?

2. I got Advanced Diploma in local college in Malaysia do I need to send to NARIC the certificate for recognition first to score point for bachelor degree (as my college lecturer told me it's equivalent to the UK barchelor degree).

Thank you

1. Proof of income: What you've described is a bit tricky. Could a letter from employer help? Someone please advise.

2. Yes, you need NARIC.

3. Yes, you will be awarded points based on the country where you're living.

my employer is in uk, so do i earn the point in UK or overseas (indonesia). the differences point is quite big.

according to the home office changes in HSMP past earnings dated 8 Sept 2005 it stated that i earn point based on the uk band income scale. maybe my interpretation is not correct, any senior can advice me in this matter? thank you.

UK employers set the pay scale as per host country economy and lifestyle. I am also UK programme staff but the salary gap of UK based staff and local country staff is very big.

I therefore have claimed earning points as per the country where I working. However, my case is still underway.

good luck to you keshav, so you claim the point in your host country? I hope th case worker will buy the idea as I want to do the same thing as well. In your employer letter are you stating you working for the UK company or host company (which mean seconded to this country).
