Just got Tier 1 visa, but its not postdated as requested!

Hi,

I got my Tier 1 visa, but since I cannot travel before Nov due to commitments, I had attached a visa post date request along with reason for it (It clearly says on website that an applicant can ask for a visa post dated up to 3 months). The visa I got is not postdated! That puts me in a bit of a spot cuz I cannot travel till Nov (a month and a half late) and that will affect my 5 yr completion in the end!

I have written to the Visa section requesting them to allow me to resubmit my passport so that the visa date can be amended, since its not an additional request I am making, but something I identified at time of passport submission. What do you think are the chances of them approving request?

Regards

What was your entry for 'On which date do you wish to travel to the UK'
in VAF9 form?

Hi,

In VAF form I stated a date that was no longer eligible since my original application got refused.

I then applied for an Admin review where the refusal got overturned. In the AR decision letter, it stated that I should submit my passport with my intended date of travel. At the time of passport submission then, I gave the post date request letter and the new intended date of travel.

Regards
