QUESTIONS AT IMMIGRATIOM DESK AT LHR FOR STUDENT DEPENDENT

Kindly let me know the Basic questions asked at immigration desk on arrival at LHR.

My visa is valid upto 31st Jan 2011, My spouse is already in UK since March 2009 we will also be applying for extension by Dec as she is going to do MBA. I'm confused about if should I tell the immigration officer about our plans for extension or should I show intent of leaving Uk by the end of my visa. As per the visa I'm allowed to work fulltime, should I state the my purpose of visit is to work or should I state the I'm here just to be with my spouse & she will be supporting me throught my stay.

Please care to answer as im very hesitant about immigration clearance and I'm flying for the first time.
