Dependant application form- Need help..Urgent

Post by nehagharge » Mon Oct 04, 2010 10:26 pm

Hi All,

I am filing my dependant application in two days from now and have come across some couple of queries. Please advise me. This is the second time i am applyting for dependant visa.

I am currently on student visa valid until this November 2010, I have been staying with my husband (currently on Tier 1 General) (not married until March 2010), since I entered UK (15 April 2009) So now what documents should I provide to prove that I have not breached any immigration rules during my stay as student and our relationship is genuine. We don’t have the evidence of phone bills as they were on his friend’s name. We had some conversations (back in 2008) through emails but those are in regional language. So should i attach those emails?

In part 3: Your full residential address:

I am staying in UK with my husband and i don't have a home address in India.so which address should i mention. My in - laws address?

Do I need to submit the original tenancy agreement or a photocopy will do?

Do i need to provide my old passport which has expired and has no visa on it?

3. PART 6.3 and 6.8

Have you ever been refused a visa for UK or any country? If yes please provide reason.

I am currently on student and have applied for dependant with in UK and was refused as i did not get the entry clearance as my husband’s partner. So what should I mention here?

The documents which I will be submitting are as follows:

VAF10 downloaded from uk visa website
Current passport
Photographs
My husband’s photocopy of passport
My husband’s 6 months’ pay slip
Employer reference letter – my husband
College reference letter – as I am on student visa
Marriage certificate
Marriage Pics
Invitation card
Covering letter
3 Months bank statement

Please advise if i nee to submit any more documents as i dont wis to get refused again.

Thanks,
Neha

I had one of my friend in your similar case, his wife was on student visa and unfortunately she needed to go back home to apply for the dependent visa after confirming with HO, which i believe you have to do too. May be other members will torch some light too.
