I don't know who else to ask these questions to because 1) Worldbridge NEVER helps 2) the UK Embassy in D.C. won't talk to you 3) the State department won't talk to you either. So if anyone with experience could assuage my fears/concerns I would be so appreciative.
The situation:
On July 4 I was denied entry into the UK because I mistakenly thought I could just wait for my acceptance into the universities while staying with my friend for the summer. I knew I was getting into schools but I didn't have the CAS numbers yet. I was in a terrible situation in Los Angeles and that was the reason I left early. My friend said I could stay with them so I bought a plane ticket and went. When they told me I had to start the visa application process from my home country (I had started it but I didn't realize I couldn't do it while there) and they were going to send me back to L.A. where I had just given up my apartment and had nowhere to stay, I started crying my eyes out cause I didn't understand and they wouldn't give me time to make phone calls to see if I could stay someplace else, etc. On the papers I was given it said I was denied because I didn't have enough money and because I SAID I was getting into particular universities, even though the friend I was going to stay with vouched that I could stay with him. Finally, after much confusion, they agreed to send me to NYC (cause I knew someone there) and they were being exceptionally cruel when all I was doing was crying. I had wasted 600 dollars on a plane ticket, had spent 13 hours on a plane and was being turned around? I was naturally distraught.
I got to NYC and started the process. I paid the fee, I got my biometrics done, I got the CAS statement, I got the official award letter for my financial aid airmailed to me from my school, I did all the appendices, I had my official transcripts and paid for a premium visa appointment for Oct. 4th as I have to be in Liverpool no later than the 10th because I will lose my place at the university. During the appointment at the NYC consulate not only do they tell me that I have to re-do my biometrics because the ones I did in NY went to an application for the L.A. office however this was an issue I called Worldbridge about and they SAID they put in a claim for which they obviously never acted upon. Then I get a call saying that they won't have a decision on my visa for a couple days so I had to cancel my flight. I gave them all the documentation I was given in London but she said they have to verify it with London. I have no criminal record. The only thing that I am guilty of is ignorance to the process and crying too much, I guess

So the reason why I am asking anyone is because I am terrified they are going to deny me based on my being denied entry the first time. I told them I was getting into schools. Now I have provided the proof and proof of funds (more than enough funds - actually). Is it common for them to deny someone in my situation? Does anyone have experience with this? I don't want to lose my place at the university and I just don't know what to do and am extremely distraught and I refuse to call Worldbridge again.
Thank you so much.
