Maternity Leave and ILR application!!

Hi guys,

My friend is on work permit for nearly 5 years but taking maternity leave at the moment. Her employer provided a letter and confirmed she is a permanent employee and needed in the future too. She gets SMP(Statutory Maternity Pay) every month. As we know, 3 month bank statements and 3 month play slips are required for ILR application. Her concern is although she has some savings in her bank account, will HO believe she can support herself as well as her dependants (husband is on full time job and 2 children under 4 years old) by only receiving SMP? She obviously has no problem financially, but the amount of SMP shown on the payslips is not looking very good. She will get back to work when maternity leave finishes in January. But her application needs to submit very shortly. Will her husband's pay slips help?
