After reading the rejection stories on this forum, I plan to include relevant definitions of acceptable documents from the 'Tier 1 guidance document' in my cover letter.
Do you guys this is overdoing it? or it makes sense? I just wish to minimize chance of error from ECO.
Its quite ok as long as the cover letter is well structured and not too verbose. If I were you I would say : (as an example):
Maintenance Funds - Points claimed: 10
Supporting Evidence Requirement: Per para xx of page xx of the guidance notes I am required to provide "xxxxxx" which should have the following details: "xxxxx".
Evidence Provided: I am attaching the following documents in support of points claimed under Maintenance Funds criteria at Appendix-"C". The documents meet all the requirements mentioned above.
BUT the key is to keep it simple and crisp!!
