Tier 1 - bank statement and letter from bank

Post by sajinsanand » Wed Oct 27, 2010 7:53 am

Hi,

I am planning to apply for Tier 1 on 12th November 2010 @ VFS Bangalore, India.

I am holding an account with HDFC bank. This is my salary account and I am maintaining the funds also in this account. I am getting electronic bank statements.

The electronic bank statement has the bank logo and all the details specified in the policy giudelines.

I went to one of the braches of HDFC bank today and enquired about getting statements in bank stationary and letter from bank.

The officer in the bank showed me the format in the paper that they use for printing the bank statements. The format of the bank stationery looked exactly the same as the one that I am getting online. The Paper has color logo of the bank and rest of the transaction details will be printed on it using DOT MATRIX printer.

which is the better option

1, Submitting the statement from the bank [as mentioned above] with seal on all pages

or

2, Submitting the attested printout of the electronic statement?

Please advise.

Regards,
Sajin
