My Friend Situation - 10 days gap in visa.

My Friend Situation - 10 days gap in visa.

I am posting on my friends behalf here.

I observed that they have some 10 days of gap between their visas in their Passports and this happened during their Tier1(General) renewal this January.

Though they have sent in their applications 3 weeks in advance of their visa expiry (they have the postal receipt as their proof of applying in advance), it seems the HO has only given visas with 10 days after their expiry.

Will this cause a problem for them? May i know what is the minimum number of days, HO considers the gap between the visas?

Please Clarify.
