Hi all,
Please advise!I am a contractor with agency and not in a permanent employment. it is full time and my contract is until march 2011.
Would that matter at all?
Can I attach my Contract with application?would that act as employment letter?
To apply soon...please reply asap!
Many Thanks

HSMP at the moment

WP+HSMP: 5yrs continuous
Got Workpermit on 25 January2005
HSMP in 2007;valid till2009
then extended but had problems due to maintenance funds only.
But now, thanks to Pankina judgment all fine.

As suggested earlier, I hope you have confirmation from either UKBA or a competent solicitor on the issue.

Type of (current) employment (permanent / contractual / self-employment) does not matter when applying for settlement as HSMP/Tier 1 migrant.

Hi Sushdmehta,
thanks for the reply
I sent my case to UKBA and they now provided me with a letter which reads
"you have a 5 yrs continuous since January 2005"
and also says that I do not have any break in continuity

Do you think it would be fine?
Would I need emplyment letter if I am all p60s and payslips?

Good! That's what you needed. Do keep a copy of the letter in your possession if you send the original one with the application.

Good to have, but no mandatory for HSMP/Tier 1 (General) migrants. But you may need your WP authorization letters.
