HSMP Sigificant Achievement

Post by jisnubasu » Wed Apr 26, 2006 8:06 am

Hi,

I am an under 28 candidate. Can anyone tell me please if writing a paper which has been published in an IEE conference. Also my paper has been cited by another author in my research group. It has also come out on the internet under technical articles of IET (EUROPE). Also I am member of a research group as well apart from my continuing professional experience. Do you think this can act as a significant achievement if I get peer reviews and academic references from head of research group who is also an author of books. The paper is abt mobile computing which is an emerging field in uk.

Many thanks in advance.

Jisnu.

The normal procedure that usually apply is that Signifiacnt achievement is refer to publishing your work is the high ranking journals not in the int. conference proceedings.

If your you progresss your work in the IEE journals I believe it will be fine. But of course people could try any form of achievement if they want to try.

THere is a previous discussion about this try to have a look at this.
