ILR

Post by kurushri » Tue Nov 09, 2010 12:34 pm

Hi,

I would be grateful if someone could help me by answering my quires.

1) I came to UK in 2002 and was on a student visa and then extended it to SCGS in 2005. I got my work permit for 5 year in Feb 2006 and i have been with the same employer thought out. My employer has agreed to provide me with the letter stating the same, Am i eligible for ILR in Jan 2011.

2) In 2009 Dec my company changed its name and My Employer has agreed to give a letter stating the same and provide me with the original company registration document showing the name change for visa. Will this cause any problem?

3) I have joined as a graduate engineer so started on a low pay scale and enjoyed a pay increase of 6 to 15 % rise every year. Initially before issuing my work permit Home office enquired about the low salary and the company sent a letter saying that my salary would be increased by 6 to 15% annually, this was accepted and home office issued my Work permit (My employer has both the letter). Will this be a problem and Do I need to carry any additional supporting documentation.

4) Due to unseen circumstances i had to spend all my savings and i have around 1500 to 2000 pounds as my min bank balance. ( i want to jointly apply for ILR for my wife and child). Will this cause a problem, do i need to maintain a min balance for the last three months.

5) My wife lost her passport two year ago and we had to apply for a new one and we got the transfer of condition on to her new passport. Do i need to carry additional documentation like police report, letter from the home office..

6) Is it better for me to apply at PEO or by post. (My employer has agreed to pay for it)

Thank you in advance

Regards,
Shri
