Dependnat to Tier 1

Post by visaforv10 » Mon Nov 08, 2010 1:33 pm

Hello Friends,

I am in the UK for last 28 months on dependant visa to my wife’s work permit (now tier 2). I want to apply for my own Tier 1 visa and I understand I need to apply from my home country.

The question is

If by any chance, my tier 1 visa is rejected, whether my current visa status (of dependant to work permit) will remain valid or not? Will be able to come back to UK and continue working in the UK? Please advise.

Regards,

Your leave to enter/ remain as dependent of WP / Tier 2 migrant will remain valid if your Tier 1 (General) application is refused.
