Hi if a person has gap in employment, even the person is in UK, But what is the minimum salary should be for any year.

There is no minimum salary requirement / restriction for settlement application. If you can maintain and accommodate yourself and dependants (if any) without recourse to public funds, you should be fine.

I assume there is a minimum monthly bank balance you need to maintain..
would anyone know of the exact numbers, for self and dependents?

Also, can this balance go below the minimum during the month as long as the month end balance is above the limit?
