hi there to be honset i dont think they will he did not get cautioned or taken to court so i feel you will be ok.. have not got hold of my freind yet but I am sure you be ok.. i have known people to have very hard crimes and still get ILR so dont worry when is your appointmentblossom2009 wrote:Hi sally12345,

He was not arrested or taken into custody.
he was only given this penalty notice of £80 in the store where this all happened.
he has paid the penalty in full.
I hope they would not refuse my application because of all this.

husband had a CRB enhanced check done through employer and the report came all fine.this was in August and this incident happened in October time!

it was damn stressful...
i disclosed it as i thought it would be good to be honest! but caseworker considered as conviction for some reason...even though i mentioned that i have researched on it and it is not same as conviction..
i had good covering letters prepared but the case worker did not even look at them!
anyway,i dont think that the penalty notice comes up on their system as case worker asked me what was penalty notice for..
but i am not 100%sure so its good to declare..
