ILR SET(O) Question

Hi,

I am going to apply SET(O) next month in Crydon. I have few questions, please can someone help me?

1. I start to work in May 2010 under student visa, my company was applying the work permit for me at the same time, but only been granted in Dec 2010. will it be a problem? or should i just ask my employer to say i was started in Dec 2010?

2. Will home office ask about the questions about what i was studying previously etc?

3. Do i have to provide 5 yrs P60? Will 1 yr be ok?

4. On SET (O) form, it ask the date when i enter the UK? should it be the date that my WP granted? eg. Dec 10? not the date i entered as a student.

On what basis are you applying for ILR?

I was on student visa from 2002 to 2005.

that alone doesnt qualify you for ILR. u r applying using sET(O) so u must have been working 4/5 years under work visa (Post study visa / SEGS visa) are not counted towards this...

check dates in ur original post, do u really mean 2010?

I was on student visa from 2002 to Dec 2005, and then from Dec 2005 to now on work permit visa.
