Yes, your wife can apply for a dependent visa.Sinner wrote:Hello. Me and my wife is on tier 4. can i apply for a dependent visa for her?
Yes, but from outside the UK. An in-country application (to switch to dependant route) cannot be submitted as 319C(h) is not satisfied.Sinner wrote:Hello. Me and my wife is on tier 4. can i apply for a dependent visa for her?
May have been possible if you and your partner were granted leave to enter / remain as a student as per rules before 31-March-2009 (i.e.- you were on (old, pre-PBS) student visa and not Tier 4).zee_aziz wrote:Best is you apply at the same time by filling in separate Dependant application form along with your Tier 4 application form for extension (whenever it is due) IN UK, you dont have to leave country.
I was wrongly advised by trainee immigration solicitors ( check my threads)
but I easily switched myself to Intl student dependant in country.
Immigration rules for leave to remain as dependant of (pre PBS) student (76) are different from immigration rules for leave to remain as dependant of Tier 4 (PBS) migrant (319C).zee_aziz wrote:i made incountry application and has been switched successfully.
